Reduces twisting and death hitch formation

The Petzl HUIT’s figure 8 square design reduces twisting of the rope and risk of girth hitch formation while rappelling. The small oval-shaped hole allows the use of thin ropes and can be converted into a belay plate. It is made from forged aluminum and accommodates ropes from 8 to 13 mm, single or double.
